Akl & Associates, PLLC is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This position will play a critical role in supporting our team in residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare closing disclosures and documentation, including closing statements, review of title commitments/policies, deeds, notes, mortgages, and other closing documents.
Review real estate contracts, loan documents, surveys, title reports, and other documentation related to real estate transactions.
Calculate recording fees, transfer taxes, and other charges associated with closings.
Coordinate with lenders, title companies, realtors, buyers, and sellers to ensure timely and compliant closings.
Communicate with clients to review documents, answer questions, and provide status updates throughout transactions.
Maintain accurate files and records for all transactions.
Support real estate attorneys with closing preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a real estate paralegal
Extensive knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and closing procedures
Strong proficiency with real estate software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superb organizational and multitasking abilities
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and handle extensive workflow with tight deadlines
This is a full-time, in office, position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Hourly rate starting at $25. Open to negotiation based upon knowledge and experience.
