Commercial Plow Operator $22 - $30/hr

Join the dedicated team at J and R Property Services, where we are currently seeking Commercial Plow Truck Operators in and around Cicero, NY to join our Snow & Ice Control team. As a Plow Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our commercial customers' properties are safely and efficiently maintained, even in the harshest winter conditions. This role requires early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty, including holidays. J and R Property Services is committed to providing industry-leading pay and benefits, along with opportunities for career development and growth.ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly (within 30 minutes) to calls for snow removal.Ensure assigned properties are adequately and safely serviced as required.Perform snow shoveling, grounds maintenance, and other facilities maintenance tasks as assigned.Carry out routine equipment maintenance/repair tasks such as changing vehicle fluids, fueling, greasing, painting, etc.Regularly inspect equipment and comply with safety precautions.Maintain all equipment needed for snow removal.Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and regulations, and work independently with minimal supervision.Report any incidents involving equipment functionality to Supervisor(s).QualificationsAbility to lift 50 pounds.Experience operating standard truck and plow.Consistent, dependable attendance record.Willingness to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions.BenefitsIndustry-leading pay and benefits package.Training and career development opportunities for employees who demonstrate a strong work ethic, think creatively, and manage time and tasks efficiently and safely.
