Looking for a home health worker who is physically strong and has a good work ethic to provide assistance in LaFayette for a 90 year old man with dementia, incontinence and limited mobility. He is currently bedbound. Must be able to transfer client from bed to chair and back again. Prior experience with similar clients is desired. Duties include but are not limited to:
-giving a bed bath or shower, shaving, grooming and other hygiene care
-changing diaper or pull up in bed, or help with toileting in bathroom when he is able
-assistance in transferring, turning and positioning client
-meal preparation as directed, and assistance with meals
-laundry and help with dressing
-light cleaning/tidying up
Shifts are 12:30pm-2:30pm. Hours could be adjusted slightly to fit your schedule. Substitute hours may be available for two hour shifts mornings and evenings. Compensation is $30 an hour.
Candidates will need reliable transportation. Position begins immediately.
