The College of Law is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Labor and Employment Law in its online JDInteractive program. Labor and Employment Law is a two-credit course on the legal regime structuring the rights of workers, and the common law and statutory principles governing modern employment relationships. This course addresses the coverage of labor law, the administration of labor law by the National Labor Relations Board, the process of gaining union representation through organizing, the process of collective bargaining, and other forms of “concerted activity.” This course also addresses the nature of the employment relationship, the at-will rule and its limitations, employee mobility, employee privacy, family leave, worker safety, and wage and hour law. To be offered in Summer 2024.
