Part-Time Faculty: Game Show Production: Two Truth and a Lie (LA Spring 2025)

The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in Syracuse University (LA) is seeking an individual to teach TRF 510 – Game Show Production: Two Truth and a Lie on Thursdays, 9am-12pm (noon) EST Spring 2025 Semester (1 credit). Course Description: In this course, students write, shoot and edit a 30-minute game show entitled TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE. Students will need to watch the already existing pilot and work as a team to produce the 2nd episode, including revisions to the game show format, if needed. Students will participate as writers, hosts, contestants, camera operators, editors and other production personnel as needed. The class will take place at the Dick Clark Los Angeles Center in the NoHo Arts District. The first class session will meet once on site at The Dick Clark Center. There will then be two weekend production days. The show should be completed by the end of the semester.Classes will be held at the Dick Clark Los Angeles Center, 5250 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601.
