Shining Stars Daycare Inc is looking for a Head Teacher for our 4 year old UPK program in collaboration with the Liverpool School District starting with the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. The classroom is a full day program
9:00-3:00 or 8:30-2:30 with 16 children and an Assistant. Can also be a full time position if desired. Working in this program does count towards hours needed for certification.
Duties include planning & implementing activities using the district’s chosen curriculum, supervising children and one teacher assistant, assessing childrens’ skills, conducting parent/teacher conferences, taking the children outdoors, our indoor gym & participate in paid center & district training. Must be able to conduct an UPK Graduation for the children & families in June.
Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in ECE or education B-2 or B-6 or related. Masters degree a plus or plan to receive one.
