Candidate must have a basic knowledge of electronics and/or software development especially within the field of microprocessor development. Provide engineering support for the RDT&E activities being conducted at the AFRL research facilities.Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide technical support for Air Force and other Department of Defense (DoD) projects.
Develop telemetry systems needed in support of the RF technical programs.
Develop electronic systems used to support the daily activities conducted at the research facilities.
Responsible to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic test equipment.
Assist coworkers in any additional tasks needed to support the RDT&E efforts conducted at the research facilities.
Project documentation, presentations and final reports.
Required Skills
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Basic electronics knowledge.
Soldering skills.
Programming languages (i.e. C, C, Python, Java, HTML, VHDL)
Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Verbal and written communication skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
Proficient use of hand and power tools (i.e. Screwdriver, pliers, wire strippers, drill)
