Position Overview:
We seek a skilled and experienced HVAC and Plumbing Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of HVAC and plumbing systems across our portfolio of properties. This position requires a valid license and the ability to commute to various properties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of HVAC and plumbing systems to identify issues and potential problems.
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on HVAC and plumbing systems, including but not limited to, replacing parts, troubleshooting malfunctions, and fixing leaks.
Install new HVAC and plumbing systems following industry standards and local building codes.
Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies to resolve issues and ensure tenant satisfaction.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Collaborate with property managers and other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including properly storing tools and equipment.
Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the HVAC and plumbing industry.
Requirements:
A valid HVAC and plumbing license is required.
Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC and plumbing systems.
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for commuting to various properties.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
A smartphone compatible with the TSheets and AppFolio apps
