Overview
Busy general dentistry practice seeks a certified dental assistant. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, friendly and willing to work as part of a team. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not necessary. Front desk experience and knowledge of Dentrix software is great but not required.
Four-handed dentistry
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Take dental digital radiography (x-rays)
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Perform various office tasks as necessary
Minimum Education and Experience
Dental Assistant Certificate
1 year of experience
