We are seeking a skilled line cook to join us at Bill's Long Pond Diner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and presentation, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests and a quality working environment for themselves and their fellow employees.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Monitor food supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments as needed
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food handling and food service
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Food safety certification preferred
- Previous experience in a diner or family restaurant highly preferred
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
Shifts (hours flexible):
Mon. 7am-2pm
Wed. 8am-2pm
Thu. 8am-2pm
Fri. 8am-1pm
Sat. 8am-2pm
Sun. 8am-2pm
