1 year experience in a line cook position is REQUIRED
Must be available from 3pm-midnight, Tuesday- Saturday and 11am-10pm Sunday
ServSafe certification preferred, but not necessary
You will be plating food according to the requests of guests in various arrangements.
Ability to work in a team environment
Communication with other kitchen staff to ensure that you are getting the food tickets out at the same time-When something needs to be fired/held.
Able to lift -/+ 50 pounds
Standing for extended periods of time
Being tolerant of heat
Having prep completed for beginning of dinner
Complete server tickets in a timely fashion (<15 minutes when slow <30 minutes during rush) including to go orders
Sweeping floors, wiping counters, cleaning messy areas as needed to insure your area is clean throughout the shift
Cleaning all kitchen equipment
Food safety, making sure that you have well-fitting gloves, changing your gloves often. Making sure that you are not around any contaminates. Washing your hands appropriately and often.
Food safety knowledge: keeping food in appropriate temperature ranges and stored properly according to the Health Department Guidelines
Cleaning and mopping at the end of the night insuring that you are reaching under all large kitchen equipment and getting all debris
Telling management in a timely fashion if we are running low or out of something. Also, if something is broken or needs to be fixed.
Reaching over 5 feet for plate ware
