Description We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join and contribute to our thriving legal firm. This individual will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury cases, handling them from initial client contact to resolution. They will offer legal guidance, represent our clients inside and outside the courtroom, negotiate settlements, and strive to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.Responsibilities:
Manage a substantial caseload of personal injury cases from start to resolution.
Conduct initial client interviews, gather evidence, and handle necessary paperwork.
Research and understand legal arguments, regulations, and articles to support the case, compile the findings, and present them in court if needed.
Negotiate settlements with insurers and opposing attorneys.
Represent the clients' interests in pre-trial hearings and during relevant litigation proceedings.
Continuously communicate with clients to keep them well-informed about the progress of their case and any related legal advice.
Collaborate with legal support staff to establish and maintain case files.
Develop effective strategies to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
Requirements:
A Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
A member in good standing with the NY Bar.
A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
Proven track record of handling personal injury cases and achieving successful outcomes.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage large caseloads and multitask effectively.
Superior organizational, research, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficient in the use of case management software and technology for legal research.
Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality, ethical conduct, and professionalism. Requirements Must hold a degree in Law from an accredited institution
Should possess at least 3 years' experience in the legal field Must be a Licensed Attorney in the state of practice Experience with Personal Injury Litigation is required Experience with Personal Injury Plaintiffs is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents Must adhere to professional ethics and demonstrate professionalism at all times Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong negotiation skills and the ability to persuade Must demonstrate confidentiality and discretion in all matters Familiarity with legal software and computer programs for legal research.
