The ideal candidate must have hands-on mechanical repair and electrical troubleshooting experience, particularly with hydraulics and pneumatics. The role requires basic computer knowledge for data entry and maintaining maintenance and facility records.
Perform daily preventative maintenance on various mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including compressors, die cutters, pumps, and custom manufacturing equipment.
Work with both three-phase high voltage and control voltage electrical systems.
Conduct necessary mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment.
Maintain computerized maintenance records.
Perform all tasks in a safe manner following OSHA standards.
Work in elevated areas and confined spaces within the plant.
Respond to plant emergencies during off-hours and weekends.
Experience in mechanical repair and electrical troubleshooting, particularly with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Basic computer knowledge for data entry and record maintenance.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Knowledge of PLC controls and software (a plus).
