Professional Automotive Sales & Leasing Consultant
Job Responsibilities:
Automotive Sales & Leasing Consultants interview customers to assess their needs and match them with in-stock vehicle options
Sales & Leasing Consultants commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of sales skills, vehicles and technology; stay well-read and continue to learn about new vehicles and their features
Sales & Leasing Consultants test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features
Present price and payment quotes and explain financing/leasing options for New and Used vehicles
Prospecting activities like making outbound phone calls, sending emails, and visiting local businesses with business cards and a presentation
Follow up with previous visitors, and prospective customers and return email / voicemail daily
Support on-line customers by setting appointments
Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have an extraordinary work ethic and a strong desire to succeed.
Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
Steady work history and the commitment to starting/continuing a new career
Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
Basic computer, email and internet proficiency
Excellent appearance, above average verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through
Must be able to handle rejection, sometimes several times per week when customers decide not to purchase from you, or to postpone a sale, without losing drive and intensity
Weekend availability is needed as well as frequent evening hours
Valid U.S. Driver's license
MUST pass a drug screen
