Salary: Per GTA or GUSS contract as noted below

Report Times: 8:15 am - 2:45 pm
Daily Hours: 6.5
Work Year: ESY 2025
Supervisor: Director of Pupil Personnel Services
Minimum Requirements:
- Certified special education teacher (GTA); or Master’s in Psychology/Related field with focus as an Applied
Behavioral Analyst (GUSS).
- Experience in working with students with disabilities.
- Meeting or exceeding standards as determined by the Professional Performance Review Process, or effective or highly effective as determined by the NYSUT rubric APPR.
Desired Qualifications:
Certified in CPI and/or TCI.
Experience in working with students with autism and challenging behaviors.
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
This extended school year position will be available pending student enrollment.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THE ENTIRE SUMMER SESSION (Tentative dates are July 7th through August 15th, 2025)
SET UP DAY: TBD (Attendance Required)
8:00 am to 2:00 pm
(Paid for up to 6 Hours at the Professional rate ($35) per the GTA contract or the individual GUSS member's
hourly rate)
RATE OF PAY BASED UPON HOURS WORKED PER GTA CONTRACT:
- Daily Hours equal to or greater than 6 hours paid at 1/200th daily rate.
- Daily Hours less than 6 hours paid at 1/200th hourly rate.
RATE OF PAY BASED UPON HOURS WORKED PER GUSS CONTRACT:
- Daily hours paid at individual GUSS member's hourly rate.
