Job Description
This key sales role is responsible for driving solutions through one of Current's major channel partners, Graybar. Position needs to be located in/around New York City market.
- Responsible for managing and strengthening the partnership between GEcurrent and Graybarregional sales teams.
- Strong engagement and relationship building at the Graybarregional sales level, while supporting local sales team engagement at the Graybar district sales level.
- Responsible for driving GEcurrent's strategic imperatives to the field, creating a one stop experience for Graybarand their end users. Accountable for developing and successfully implementing growth strategies, in addition to an operating rhythm that fosters follow-up and accountability to exceed financial goals.
- Responsible for all Gecurrent solutions (LED Lamp, Fixture, and Controls) sales to Graybarand their end user.
Qualifications
Basic Characteristics- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5years of commercial sales experience
- Highly motivated with Strong leadership and analytical skills and negotiation skills both externally at the customer level and internally within all departments at Gecurrent and Graybar
- Strong ability to manage multiple levels of the sales process including customer and manufacturer's representatives while driving toward successful closure
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and PC skills
- Highly motivated self-starter, creative and strategic thinker who knows how to sell into the lighting market and become an "expert" in the assigned market segment
Desired Characteristics:
- Lighting industry experience
- Experience working with Graybaras an employee, supplier, or customer
