billion in assets under management is currently seeking an Operations Technical
Analyst to join Gresham’s operations team, reporting to the Head of Operations.
The analyst will become an integral member of Gresham’s four person Operations
team managed by the firm’s COO, with direct exposure to all divisions and
members of the business. This person will directly support the Operations,
Trading, Accounting, Compliance and Investor Relations teams and will cover a
wide range of responsibilities including coding for automation, end-of-day
pricing, product control, data management, reporting, process engineering and
operational risk management. In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, the
analyst will work closely will all teams to onboard new strategies/solve
operational problems that will allow them to expand their skill set, and
constantly test their ability to problem solve and think critically.QUALIFICATIONS:Required:
Undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering
Proficiency in Python, SQL (Knowledge and ability to quickly learn new languages a plus)
Preferred:
Understanding of financial markets, specifically Futures
Knowledge of Bloomberg, Advent Geneva a plus
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Able to work independently and with minimal oversight; manage own tasks
Works well in a team environment
Quick learner
Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment
Detail oriented; demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work
