Are you passionate about women's health and skilled in research and editing? We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Research Editor to help update a 10-year-old book on women's health issues. This role involves sourcing the latest medical and scientific information from PubMed and other reputable sources to provide updated content for each health topic in the book.
Responsibilities:
Review and update existing content with current research, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Use PubMed and other reliable sources to find ½ to a full page of updated material per health topic.
Maintain the book’s voice and tone while seamlessly integrating new findings.
Provide a sample update for a designated topic as part of the application process.
Qualifications:
Strong research and writing skills, particularly in health-related fields.
Proficiency in using PubMed or similar databases to find credible medical studies.
Background in women’s health, medicine, or a related field preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation:
$30 per hour, with flexible work hours.
