A Summer Internship with Purpose Our 11-week, paid summer internship program provides you with opportunities for learning and personal development, networking, and engagement with our leadership teams. Based in San Francisco, New York City, or Toronto (but operating virtually until it is safe to be back in our offices), youll feel accepted from day 1, included, and a part of our community. Youll gain hands-on experience and exposure within your discipline and team while making real contributions, receiving mentorship, and learning from constructive feedback. Whether it's wrangling big data or writing code for our app, your work contributes to our companys overall success, impacting the lives of millions. My Impact as a WW Quality Engineering Intern
- Develop, maintain, and execute a robust automation suite of backend and front-end tests for our applications
- Advocate for Shift-Left practices to build quality into our applications early in the software lifecycle
- Champion our member experience by identifying and testing common use cases
- Learn from our talented team of Quality Engineers and share your knowledge to make us better too
- Participate in daily stand-ups and other agile ceremonies
- Attend sprint planning meetings where you will provide estimates for tasks
- Develop test automation code on feature branches and push your code to Github
- Receive and provide feedback on the solutions you and your team develop
- Track, update and resolve tickets you work on in Jira
- Passion for learning about the latest tools and technologies
- Desire to seek out challenges and learn from other engineers
- Critical eye for identifying and solving issues.
- A collaborative approach to sharing your ideas and feedback with the team
- Demonstrated experience with 1 object-oriented / functional / multi-paradigm language
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another technical discipline with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Graduation date between December 2021 and May 2022
