Gas Fleet mechanic

We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Ford mechanic to join our team and work on a fleet of Ford ambulettes

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.

- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

- Keep accurate records of all services, repairs, and maintenance performed.

- Collaborate with manager and other team members to ensure efficient fleet operations.

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Ford wheelchair vans and Braun hydro lifts

- Stay updated with the latest Ford technical information and repair procedures.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, Mainly Ford Econoline/Transit

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic tools

- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition

- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, suspension systems, and HVAC systems

- Perform tire services, including mounting, balancing, and alignment

- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed for repairs or replacements

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed

- Someone who is familiar to body work would be huge plus

```Requirements```

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record cdl is a plus

-tech savvy

- Proficient in using hand tools and automotive diagnostic equipment

- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
