Business couple seek a private driver / assistant to work at least 30 hours per week, sometimes more. Based in Manhattan til end of March, then Brooklyn Heights / Dumbo area. We have a Bentley Arnage sedan, so candidate needs to have experience with powerful automobiles.
Immediate commencement.
This position is for around a 6-month period, as we will be returning overseas after that time. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who also wants to learn about business at a high level.
Most work will be Mondays to Fridays during business hours, but with occasional evening and Saturday work. In the event of out of town travel, food and accommodation will be covered.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver preferred but not required.
- Military or law enforcement background an advantage but not essential
- Even temperament essential
Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
