Menchy Cleaning & Restoration Inc. provides emergency repairs, structural drying, and cleanup services to properties damaged by water and fire. We are looking for technicians to work our fire and water damage projects with the mitigation team. This is HANDS on work for capable candidates who are able to thrive in residential and commercial construction environments. Our team offers a emergency cleanup services, temporary power equipment, structural drying and fire cleanup to structures damaged by water and fire. Your job will be to assist the team on all phases of the project; from initial cleaning, to deployment of drying and deodorization equipment, to customer support.

capable of working with their hands, able to solve challenges and adapt to changing environment while keeping to company protocol and culture. Candidate should have basic knowledge of residential construction or technical trades experience. Capable of performing physical tasks using general tools to perform light demolition. Understanding of safety and industry best practices.

Job Description
You will be working alongside the Production Manager to assist the team in all phases of commercial and residential restoration and structural drying projects throughout New York City and NJ. The technicians will use specialty equipment to perform emergency cleanup, water extraction, light demolition, and installation of drying and deodorization equipment as part of the restoration project.
Duties Include
- Assist the project manager on residential and commercial water damage projects.
- Assist the restoration team to perform initial cleaning and water extraction.
- Assist in light repairs and work with the mitigation team in all phases of the restoration process.
- Perform on-site content handling & manipulation.
- Use software to document the project.
- Deploy structural drying equipment.
- Perform light demolition and debris cleanup after water & fire damage.
- Perform job-site monitoring and equipment troubleshooting using company software.
- Communicate with clients on job progress and limitations.
- Document loss using company software.
-Must be able to lift 40lbs (this is a hands-on position).
-Must have a valid us driver's license with clean driving record.
Starting Pay $25.00 to $35.00 per hour + Bonus + paid time off+ Paid Certification + Salary Increase
