Our installation company is looking for Flooring Technicians with underlayment installation experience.
The Poured Floors Group of Companies specializes in the installation of gypsum and cement-based underlayment along with the installation of sound attenuation flooring mat in the five boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester counties and New Jersey.
NYC DOB Training Connect Site Safety Training (SST) Card REQUIRED
Key skills
- Ability to use a Nivcomp Altimeter to accurately survey floors for depth and high points
-Understanding of the need for accuracy and the reasons behind surveying a floor prior to underlayment installation
- Install sound mat & self leveling underlayment
- Repair, grind, patch and replace underlayment by hand
- Reliability, consistency, respect, consideration and responsibility

- Be task oriented and a pro-active problem solver
- Ability and willingness to navigate around the Greater New York area with reliable transportation
- Communicate effectively and promptly across various mediums
- Ability to properly follow directions and be an asset to management
