Superfast/Cosentino Motors is hiring an experienced welder/fabricator/machinist/designer to work full time in our machine shop and production facility in Jersey City, close to Newport PATH station. You're an ideal candidate if you love two wheeled vehicles, love to build things, are a fast learner, produce work at an exacting level, and have experience welding and working with steel, aluminum, and other materials. Bonus points if you are also capable of CAD, CNC machine programming, and CNC machine operation.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and test parts for prototype and production vehicles.
Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes with Siemens controls to produce precision parts for high-performance motorcycles and scooters.
Perform machining tasks using manual machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, and other equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to determine the appropriate machining processes and parameters.
Perform welding and fabrication tasks, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, as well as metal cutting, bending, and assembly.
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC and manual machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
