Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist - High-End Boutique Hair Salon
Job Description:
We are a high-end boutique hair salon located in the Upper East Side, known for our exceptional services and unparalleled customer experience. We are currently seeking a dynamic, personable, and polished individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our esteemed clientele, and therefore, should embody the high standards and sophistication of our brand.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the salon.
2. Direct clients to the appropriate stylist or service.
3. Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
4. Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material.
5. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
6. Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
7. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
8. Schedule appointments and manage our booking system.
9. Process transactions and handle billing.
Qualifications:
-Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
-Professional attitude and appearance.
-Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
-Customer service attitude.
Preferred Skills:
1. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
2. Experience in the beauty or fashion industry.
3. Familiarity with salon booking systems.
