As a Sr Software Engineer, you contribute to most facets of our product, which can include web and mobile front-end applications, RESTful microservices, event-/data-processing pipelines, third-party service integrations, persistence layers, and/or AWS infrastructure.

Job Details

Must Haves ::

3+ years of professional experience using one of the following languages: Kotlin, Java or Clojure experience required.
1-2+ years Vue/React (web) and NativeScript/Vue (mobile) front end
Significant experience using formal software design patterns in support of creating scalable and distributed applications; you regularly apply a wide range of patterns when writing new code and have experience with patterns outside of the creational/structural/behavioral categories
Experience creating microservices
Experience implementing RESTful APIs
Significant experience creating distributed applications with Amazon AWS; you advocate for decoupling components using strategies that are both easily maintained and promise future scalability
Mastery of SQL and in working with transactional databases

Nice to Haves ::

Experience with containerized microservice solutions (Docker with Kubernetes)
Significant experience in maintaining cloud-based documentation and supporting materials using products such as Google Docs/Drive, Microsoft SharePoint/OneDrive, Lucidchart, or Miro
Current proficiency in most of React, React Native or NativeScript, Vue, Express, Spring Boot, Vert.x, Ktor, and Pedestal; mastery in at least two
