Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Coordinator based out of our NYC office.
Essential Functions:
Interact with existing clients regarding sales and product developments.
Actively engaged in sourcing new business opportunities clients in USA and Canada.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Liaise with the overseas offices to ensure timely deliveries
Visit clients and stores visits as needed
Handle client contact including sample requests, product information, new developments, and project specific follow-up.
Perform miscellaneous duties include showroom sample inventory maintenance.
Position based in New York
Must travel within USA and Canada
Knowledge and Skills:
Highly organized with accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under strict deadline
Thrive on working collaboratively with team members across the company.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office pack (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); and ability to learn company’s specific computer systems functions.
Ability to handle problem resolution professionally and with confidence.
Desire to work as part of a team.
Education And Experience:
BA/AAS degree required in Fashion Design or Management
2-4 years experience in the fashion industry
Knowledge of fashion buttons and trimmings, preferred
Knowledge of Italian language preferred but not required
