DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Protect premises and property from unauthorized entry or theft using observation and cameras.
Provide security for staff, customers, and merchandise during store hours and events.
Greet visitors and deliver exceptional customer service.
Monitor store activity and safeguard merchandise.
Escort visitors and staff, and provide security at offsite events.
Maintain security logs, records, and reports of occurrences.
Ensure safety and enforce access control at entrances.
Collaborate with the Head of Security and team on reporting and security operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an armed security guard.
Valid security guard registration and firearm control card.
Completion of an approved security guard training course (New York State compliant).
Proficiency with CCTV equipment and alarm systems.
Strong communication skills and computer literacy.
Pass background and drug tests.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and travel occasionally.
