A small property management office seeks a patient, mature individual with great work ethic to manage our office.
Must have experience using Rent Manager Software or QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Duties include
-Enter and maintain a current service issue list in Rent Manager (Tenants' repairs requests)
-Notifying tenants about upcoming inspections.
-Following up regarding post-inspection status. (Did a unit pass/fail, necessary repairs, etc.)
-Ensuring Housing Subsidy payments are received. Following up with tenants and case workers regarding missing payments.
-Posting ACH Subsidy payments received.
-Rent Collections phone calls & emails.
-Entering tenant payments received and making bank deposit slips.
-Assessing new tenant applications (approval etc.)
-Entering and maintaining tenant information in rent manager
-Accounts payable (includes scanning and attaching source documents)
-Creating leases for new and existing tenants as required
-Answering emails in a timely manner with sufficient follow-up and categorizing emails that have been resolved
-Ensuring owner financial statements are accurate and sent within the prescribed time
-Bank reconciliations
Must be organized and detail-oriented. Some after-hours availability via phone may be required.
In office Hours
10 am-5 pm Monday thru Thursday
10 am-2 pm on Friday
