Part Time Office Assistant (Construction Office)
Rapidly growing government contractor seeking a part time Office Assistant to join our team.
Job responsibilities:
Support the team with various tasks as needed, including data entry and document preparation
Front Desk phone support as needed (answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly, taking accurate messages and transferring calls to the relevant personnel)
Must be able to compose business communications (letters, emails, etc.) and speak politely and conduct themselves in a professional manner
Run Daily Errands: Picking up and dropping off bid documents, drop off overnight packages, post-office, pick-up lunch/office supplies, etc. (Gas reimbursement per IRS milage rate). Must have reliable vehicle.
Maintain common office areas clean and organized
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have reliable vehicle
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate (Email, Microsoft, adobe, etc.)
Competent in dealing with different working situations and respectful of all working environments and others
This is a Part Time in person position, Monday through Friday, days/hours are flexible but must be consistent. 15-25 hours per week.
