OFFICE/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
FULL TIME
Fast-paced, team-oriented Brooklyn CPA firm located in Manhattan Beach, near Kingsborough Community College is seeking a positive, professional and friendly addition to the team who will assist and provide administrative support for this busy firm. If you enjoy a multifaceted office and diverse responsibilities, this position is for you.
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office- Outlook, Word, Excel and have a positive attitude to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Experience in QuickBooks is a requirement.
Prior experience with a CPA firm is a plus and the ideal candidate must be able to work overtime and Saturdays during the busy tax filing periods.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Entering checks/deposits and doing bank reconciliations in QuickBooks
Bookkeeping experience
Type letters, invoices and reports
Filing
Sorting and distributing mail and incoming faxes
Work independently and provide support for CPAs including processing client tax returns and financial statements
Process electronic and paper copies of client income tax return forms and documents
Assist and coordinate with partners, managers and staff with all office activities
Data entry
Answer emails and direct incoming calls
Prompt and professional client correspondence
Being detailed oriented with excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Office organization

Ability to make decisions and be receptive and adaptable
Proficient knowledge of office technology and equipment
This is an in-office position.
