Lighting distribution firm is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team.
Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in lighting, electrical, or construction industry.
- The ideal candidate must have strong time management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and utilize these skills in a demanding, multi-tasking environment. Must have an understanding of the submittal process, vendor relations, and project management.
- Be able to co-manage multiple projects with multiple clients and schedules simultaneously.
- Must have some experience interpreting construction drawings, specifications, architectural sketches, and other related construction documents.
- Have the desire and ability to grow and learn new skills.
- Proactive and concise written and verbal communications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in all facets of the Project Management team: submittals, order entry, status reports, logistics management, etc.
- Coordinate scope, product approval, storage and/or delivery requirements, and construction schedule.
- Assist in the management of project planning and reporting in an accurate and timely manner: status reports, change orders, returns.
- Coordinate deliveries to job sites.
- Perform other job related assignments as assigned by the Senior Project Manager.
