Brooklyn accounting firm seeks responsible, motivated, detail-oriented individual for an administrative assistant position.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Schedules appointments and maintains calendars
Answers phones and greet visitors
Prepares communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
Writes and edits communications, from letters to reports and instructional documents
Handles miscellaneous fillings: incorporations, applications, elections, certificates and etc.
Creates and maintains filing systems, both electronic and physical
Other duties as required
Ideal candidate will possess following qualities:
Decision-making: administrative assistants need to make independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks.
Communications and collaboration: An administrative assistant must collaborate with other employees and support personnel, management and clients on a regular basis.
Organizational skills: The ability to maintain order helps ensure executives don’t miss appointments or deadlines.
Writing: Their emails, letter and documents reflect upon their employers, so they need to know how to write professionally, using proper spelling and grammar.
Integrity and discretion: maintain confidentiality and be aware of conversations, documentation, and correspondence vital to keeping on a need-to-know basis. We will rely on your absolute discretion, and you must have the integrity to be their trusted counsel and confidant.
Job requirements
An associate or bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of Russian Language is a plus
