We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our Production team on one of our newest product lines. In this position you will work with a group of people whose primary mission is to produce high quality composite assemblies. Job Responsibilities
Carbon Fiber Composite Fabrication: Cut and layup of carbon fiber prepreg following templates, technical specifications and layering procedures to ensure optimal structural integrity, efficiency and performance.
Shell Preparation and Finishing: Sanding and drilling of subcomponents. Applying of adhesive layers and ballistic knits while ensuring necessary bonding strength and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Final Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble finished components into completed products, performing in-process quality control checks to verify dimensional accuracy, cosmetic standards, and functional compliance prior to shipment.
Thermoforming and Radio-Frequency Welding: Build precision components using a combination of plastic forming, sealing and cutting techniques.
Water Jet Cutting Operations: Operate a 5-axis water jet to precisely cut product components. Maintain equipment and monitor output to meet quality and production targets.
Workstation and Mold Maintenance: Conduct regular in-process cleaning and maintenance of workstations, molds, and related equipment to uphold cleanliness standards and ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
Demonstrated willingness and ability to perform hands-on work with precision and care.
Flexibility and eagerness to learn and perform a variety of tasks within the production process.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and complete assignments accurately and on time.
Proficiency in English at a conversational level is strongly preferred to ensure effective communication and comprehension of work instructions.
Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time and be able to lift and more 50lbs
