We are seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Operator with some prior experience who is eager to grow into a CNC Setup role. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in operating CNC machinery and a strong desire to expand their skills and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes or both) safely and efficiently to produce precision parts;
- Read and interpret blueprints, job orders and inspection plans;
- Load and unload parts, inspect work using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.);
- Monitor machines for proper operation and report any issues to the supervisor;
- Perform basic machine maintenance (change tooling, clean area, etc.);
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts produced;
- Work closely with senior machinists to learn setup procedures;
- Demonstrate a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities over time.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of CNC machine operation experience preferred;
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications;
- Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC controls is a plus;
- Strong attention to detail and quality;
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills;
- Willingness to learn and grow into a setup role;
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team environment;
