Position: Assistant for Sculptor Photographer
Duration: 2 to 3 months, approximately two days a week (flexible schedule).
Location: Near the F train or the G train.
About Me:
I am a dynamic artist specializing in the creation of imaginative and surreal photographic worlds. My work involves sculpting props, designing photo sets, and crafting miniature landscapes. I work with a variety of materials, including concrete, plaster, resin, wood, Plexi, glue, paint, and more, depending on the project at hand. My studio is well-equipped and offers a unique opportunity to explore all aspects of photography, from camera operation to studio lighting, post-production, and printing.
What I'm Looking For:
The right candidate should be energetic, exceptionally detail-oriented, and organized. A positive attitude, a strong desire to learn, and patience are essential qualities. This internship is ideal for art set design or architecture students, as well as young artists seeking hands-on, in-person experience. Eligible students may also have the opportunity to earn school credit.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the creation of props, photo sets, and miniature worlds.
- Assist in various aspects of photography, including camera operation, studio lighting, and post-production.
- Work with a range of materials to bring creative visions to life.
- Contribute to marketing and sales activities, gaining early-stage experience.
