Marketing Manager - Los Angeles or NY
Division Overview: We are the Audience Acquisition team, part of the ViacomCBS Streaming Group, Marketing Acquisition and Campaign Services team (MACS). We work closely with the digital teams at ViacomCBS to promote and amplify the very best content and products of what is produced every day. About the role: As a Marketing Manager, you will help manage growth and acquisition campaigns that focus on acquisition metrics such as conversions rates, cost per acquisition (CPA) and return on ad spend (ROAS). The ideal candidate understands how to derive ROAS and can prove it by demonstrating an understanding and application of online direct response marketing and optimization techniques. In this role, you will work closely with the Paramount+ team and business unit colleagues to manage acquisition marketing campaigns, with specific focus on mobile, social and/or display channels. This will be a fun and fast paced role, so we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented team-player to join our entrepreneurial team. Job Duties: Manage the day-to-day of online direct response and acquisition campaigns so that they meet the target KPIs Adjust and optimize marketing campaigns and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions in order to hit ROAS targets Generate audience + creative recommendations for campaigns based on historical data, shared insights from other teams, etc. Demonstrate strong analytical skills in measuring and reporting on marketing programs and KPIs Develop and implement structured media plans that will deliver against advertising goals and budgets Evaluate, recommend, and manage ongoing relationships with media partners and vendors Collaborate with multiple departments to communicate campaign progress and updates Develop proactive ideas and solutions to meet business objectives Attend team meetings and department calls Monitor activities of competitors and provide industry trends and learnings Execute special projects as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree At least 5 years of online media/marketing experience, preferably with experience in running paid acquisition campaigns such as: direct online display, RTB display, mobile marketing, affiliate marketing, paid social or paid search At least 3 years of Agency or client experience overseeing media campaigns of at least $100K annually At least 2 years of experience working with top digital media reps from Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, TikTok, and LinkedIn 235 Second Street, San Francisco, CA 94105 At least 2 years of creating media proposals and post campaign reports that demonstrates a strong understanding of marketing key performance indicators (KPIs), media math and how it pertains to the success of marketing activities At least 1 year using Excel in a dynamic, data-driven, metrics-oriented environment. This includes creating workbooks that reference multiple worksheets or additional workbooks using math formulas like vlookups, sumif, iferror, etc. At least 2 years of experience exhibiting exceptional communication skills (written and oral) with Managers, Directors, and VPs. This would include written communication in emails, decks, and presenting in front of peers and upper managers. At least 2 years of work experience in a role where you have shown you are self-motivated and able to work independently with regular check-ins and supervision from department leaders At least 2 years of experience displaying a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) At least 1 year of experience using any of the following marketing tech and/or measurement platforms such as: Omniture, Google Analytics, Kochava, App Flyer, Nielsen, comScore, Sprinklr
