Hiring immediately: We are looking for brand ambassadors and greeters to work full time starting this week. You will join our team of Neighborhood Ambassadors in south Chelsea. Pay is $22 to $26 per hour
Five days a week you will be outside in a beautiful neighborhood welcoming people to the neighborhood and providing information on local stores and attraction. You will also interact with local stores management as part of the ambassador program. Hours are 2pm to 10pm Wednesday through Sunday every week. You must be outgoing and comfortable talking with people while being on your feet 8 hours per day. Sample duties may include:
Touring the neighborhood to observe pedestrian activities focusing on the neighborhood’s Open Streets, and the streets and public plazas directly adjacent to the Open Streets
Providing directions
Completing daily summary report forms
Rolling planters and French barricades into place on selected street
Directing private vehicles away from streets closed to vehicular traffic
Supporting emergency vehicle access to streets closed to private vehicular traffic during Open Street hours
Discouraging idling, double parking, and unnecessary standing
Requirements: Good physical condition. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Be comfortable interacting with the general public.
