I have filed a breach of contract lawsuit in NY Supreme Court against a former employer. I do not have an attorney thus far and have been representing myself "pro se." I have been relying on advice from paralegals and legal professionals to guide me up to this point.
The company I'm suing has responded with a 'motion to dismiss', to which I have responded explaining why the motion should be denied and the case allowed to proceed. If the judge allows the case to proceed, I will need an attorney to now represent me and take the matter all the way to trial - unless they decide to settle beforehand.
I am seeking an NY attorney willing to take this case on a contingency basis. I think I have a strong case and believe I have argued it well up to this point but need a good NY attorney to take this across the finish line.
