Small law firm based in Brooklyn is seeking an organized, efficient and proactive freelance/of counsel attorney to draft pleadings and manage document flow in debtor/creditor litigation cases. Starting expected workload of 5 to 10 hours per week. Pay is $70/hour. This is a remote position.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' recent experience working at a law firm with standards for quality (not a solo practice), specifically in debtor/creditor litigation.
- Proven experience drafting a variety of litigation documents, including interrogatories, RFP's, notices to admit, complaints, answers, motions, and legal briefs.
- Ability to keep track of documents—organizing what’s available, identifying what’s missing, and following up regularly to ensure timely filings.
