Pannun The Firm PC. seeks a full-time Associate Immigration Attorney for our growing immigration practice to work on US and Canadian immigration needs of our clients.
Duties include:
Provide legal advice on US and Canadian immigration law; Draft and submit US and or Canadian legal documents; Analyze the probable outcomes of immigration cases in both the US and Canada using knowledge of legal precedents; Interpret US and Canadian immigration laws, rulings and regulations for clients; Represent clients in court or before government agencies; Prepare, draft, and review motions and appeals for legal proceedings before immigration courts; Prepare, draft, and review briefs to the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Circuit Courts; Represent Clients in Immigration Removal Proceedings
Requirements:
Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) or Foreign Equivalent
Must be admitted to the New York bar
Must Be admitted to the Ontario Bar (Canada)
