Pet sitter will visit each client's home according to scheduled requests, 1-2 times per day between the hours of 11 AM & 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Each visit may have a varying duration of time, ranging from 15 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins, or 1 hr. During visit Sitter will provide indoor play time for the cat(s) or dog(s), or walk dog(s) to complete their potty business and to exercise.
Job Task:
Dog Walking: Walker must always pick up and discard all dog poop with the clients provided poop bags. He/She must also clean any accidents the pet creates in the client home. Providing detailed updates to the client after each visit.
Cat Care: Sitter will scoop and dispose of soiled litter, feed and refresh cats' water and interact with a cat, petting or playing with a provided toy(s) during the booked duration of time. Providing detailed updates to the client after each visit.
Pet Sitting: Sitter sleeps in our client(s) home overnight. Sitter must follow client(s) routine which may include short walks 1-4 times per day (morning, mid-day, dinner and evening) to walk, feed, refill water bowl, administer medication and care for their pet(s) while owner(s) are away. Providing detailed updates to the client during your stay, unless instructed otherwise.
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to work and commute in all types of weather (this is a VERY active position
that requires hours of energy, even on rainy, snowy, or humid and hot days.)
- Must be 100% reliable (RayChills PawPals Pet Sitters do their best to cover in cases of emergencies, but this is, not a job where 'calling out sick' is tolerated, as the pets in your care and their owners depend on you.)
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with RayChills PawPals, fellow employees, and clients, by phone calls, text messages, and returning emails promptly.
- Must be able to provide professional references.
