Job Title: Operations/Front Desk Associate

Location-Type: Onsite (Upper East Side- NYC)

Start Date Is: ASAP

Duration: 3-month contract-to-hire

Compensation Range: $20/hr-22/hr

Job Description:

Our client is seeking multiple Operations/ Front Desk Associates to support daily operations and guest services. This role requires strong customer service skills, flexibility, and hands-on coordination to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Available Shifts:

Tuesday - Saturday: 3 PM - 11 PM

Thursday - Monday: 3 PM - 11 PM

Thursday - Monday: 11 PM - 7 AM

Saturday - Wednesday: 3 PM - 11 PM

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Serve as the main hub for checking in/out families, assigning rooms, and managing transportation programs.

Oversee stocking of amenities such as linens, toiletries, and pantry items.

Maintain kitchen and common spaces, ensuring supplies are available and dishwashers are run at the end of shifts.

Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping requests, logging issues into the tracking system.

Perform front desk duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, and coordinating guest services.

Ensure safety procedures are followed and support security monitoring.

Support inventory management by restocking supplies and keeping closets organized.

Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

1+ year of experience in customer service or hospitality

Strong interpersonal skills with a welcoming and professional demeanor.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Attention to detail with the ability to multitask.

Passion for the mission and working with families in crisis.

Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Teams.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with property management systems (PMS) or maintenance tracking systems

Previous experience in a hospital, hospitality, or nonprofit setting.
