ASSEMBLER (Jamaica Queens)

Starting Pay: $16.50 - $17.00/hr.

Job Duties:

Follow verbal instructions to assemble mirror components, arms, and harnesses for fleet vehicles and trucks.

Communicate with team lead or supervisor regarding damaged or unusable components.

Work independently and collaboratively as part of an assembly team.

Reference engineering drawings and follow sample-based assembly instructions.

Use production quality checklists for tracking.

Log jobs, labor hours, and product completions using Epicor software.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to speak and understand English.

Punctual and reliable attendance.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat to maintain equipment.

Ability to navigate and traverse manufacturing areas, including occasional exposure to high temperatures.

POWDER COATING OPERATOR (Jamaica Queens)

Starting Pay: $20.00/hr.

Job Duties:

Prep parts by cleaning, masking, and hanging.

Apply powder coating with spray guns.

Perform washing, sandblasting, or chemical cleaning.

Inspect parts before and after coating.

Fix coating defects and ensure quality.

Maintain equipment and work area.

Coordinate with production teams.

Record job data and follow safety rules.

Suggest process improvements.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1–3 years of experience in powder coating or industrial painting (preferred but not required).

Experience operating and maintaining powder coating equipment.

Knowledge of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment.

Familiarity with pre-treatment techniques.

Ability to troubleshoot coating and equipment issues.

Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, push, and pull for extended periods.

Ability to navigate and traverse manufacturing areas.

FABRICATION TECHNICIAN (Jamaica Queens)

Starting Pay: $16.50 - $17.00/hr.

Job Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Measure, cut, and shape materials (metal, plastic, wood, etc.) using saws, drills, grinders, and other tools.

Operate fabrication equipment such as welders, press brakes, shears, and CNC machines.

Assemble components using welding, riveting, bolting, or adhesive bonding techniques.

Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.

Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery.

Follow workplace safety standards and procedures.

Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to improve processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).

Experience in metal fabrication, welding, or manufacturing (preferred).

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery.

Basic knowledge of welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
