A large healthcare network in Manhattan is seeking a qualified candidate for a 4-month temporary position as a sales trainer with Medicare Part D Enrollment experience.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm
Location: 2 days remote, 3 days onsite in NYC.
Hourly Rate: $40/hr
Job Description
Under the direction of the AVP of Sales Operations, the Sales Trainer/Auditor is responsible for ensuring quality in both the field and applications submitted to Elderplan. The Sales Trainer/Auditor will conduct regular visits to Benefit Advisors (BA) and appointed brokers in the field to ensure the highest standards as well as marketing support (questions, materials for enrollment and items used for marketing).
The Sales Trainer/Auditor must be able to initiate and perform audits and ongoing training of Benefit Advisors (and brokers as needed) to ensure proper implementation of the Elderplan sales process as defined by the AVP of Sales Operations and assure compliance with governmental regulations.
The Sales Trainer/Auditor will assist with plan growth initiatives requiring competition market analysis, intra department and external vendor communication and creating reports for SVP of Health Plan Growth, AVP of Health Plan Sales & Marketing and AVP of Sales Operations. The Sales Trainer/Auditor will serve as a liaison between the MAP Sales team, all referral sources, and the enrollment department. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to tracking referrals and providing reports as needed internally and externally.
The Sales Trainer/Auditor must demonstrate extensive knowledge of the Elderplan sales process as well as compliance regulations and Medicare Advantage and Part D regulations to effectively perform monitoring and reporting duties that support the goals of the Sales Department. The Sales Trainer/Auditor must keep him/herself up to date on all regulatory changes and create appropriate Job Aides to assure compliance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: 4 or more years of experience in the health care industry, preferably in sales related areas. · Understanding of Medicare Advantage and Part D laws and regulations required. · Experience in an auditing environment helpful. Specialized Knowledge and Skills, License/Certification · Understanding of the Elderplan sales process. · Ability to develop and implement audit plans, protocols, and outcome reports. · Ability to interact with all levels of management. · Skilled in observation, data analysis, charting, graphing, and flow. · Knowledge of Salesforce. · Accident & Health License recommended. · diagramming necessary. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
