Experienced aide/caregiver (female) needed to care for elderly lady in Hunters Point area of Long Island City (7 train Vernon).
Details:
- 4 shifts of 12 hours (8am to 8pm). Sun thru Wed (48 hrs/week)
- upto $25 an hour
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years experience as a caregiver for immobile elderly patient
2. Valid and current HHA certificate
3. Authorized to work in US
Skills:
1. Have strength for 1-person patient transfer and adjustment
2. Good cooking and meal prep skills
3. Exceptional ability to feed blended food to patient with difficulty in eating and swallowing
4. Empathy and a passion for caring for the elderly.
5. Oral care and shower/bathing experience
6. Forward thinking and preparedness for next steps
