A dental office in Fresh Meadows, NY is seeking an experienced dental hygienist. This is a part time position, and can lead to full time. Sundays are required. The right candidate would be energetic and positive with proactive personality.
Requirements for this position:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Dental hygienist experience is required
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take dental x-rays/digital scanning
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Administer local anesthesia and as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide preventive care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
