Supportive Housing Organization has openings for Client Care Coordinators/Social Workers temp to perm. Assess the needs of the individual and/or family by completing a psychosocial assessment. Engage the families or individuals in counseling, refer clients to other service providers within the community, and provide crisis intervention to clients. Participate in classroom activities to observe the children and assist teachers and recreation staff in developing individual service plans. Conduct play groups for children to address issues of trauma as needed. Facilitate workshops and groups as needed. Perform other related duties. Must be able to escort clients to appointments as needed. Work evenings at least one Saturday a month and some holidays. LMSW/LMHC must be obtained within first 90 days of employment. Must be available for on call rotation. Must attend internal and external meetings as well as trainings.
Pay $30-$33. Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, etc.
