Caregiver for a Stroke Patient

Caregiver needed for a 63-year-old wheelchair-bound man with expressive aphasia. Duties include dressing; feeding; maintaining daily hygiene routine; taking to appointments; engaging patient in physical, occupational and speech therapeutic exercises. IIdeal candidate needs to have professional attitude be able to work closely and cooperatively with other caregivers, be approachable. Job is paid via Medicaid, so the person needs to have documents to be able to register with a NYC caregiving agency. The job is 3 days per week Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and occasional Saturdays 8 am until 6 pm 30-40 hours total. The pay is $21 per hour. Candidates for this position need to have verifiable recommendations.
