PM Line Cook
This position is for a full-time PM Line Cook position with availability on the weekends. This is an open kitchen, so working efficiently and clean is optimal.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Prepare food for service
Answer, report to, and follow executive chef's instructions
Keep station clean throughout shift and properly handle closing of your station, including any leftover food Stock inventory appropriately, and inform management of any shortages
Work with a sense of purpose and urgency
Ensure that food comes out consistently, with high quality preparation and in a timely fashion
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Ideal Experience:
Proven cooking experience
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Ability to lift and move up to 50+ Ibs and stand for extended periods
Ability to read and write in English
STRONG PREFERENCE for candidates with their NYC food Handlers Certificate
